What is a Medicine Wheel?

The Sacred Medicine Wheel or Sacred Hoop is an Earth-based Ceremony and tool. The Medicine Wheel appears to be simple after all it is merely a structure of 36 stones... Yet there are untold levels of meaning to the simple circle. The Medicine Wheel of the past served many purposes for their native people of the Americas.
They are places to pray, meditate, contemplate, strengthen your connection with nature and come to a high degree of understanding of yourself and your relationship with all of creation.
If you use the Medicine Wheel as a place of Healing, and to energetically support all the Emotions, Mental, Physical & Spiritual experiences of life, It is an excellent tool and aid.
A Medicine Wheel is a circle, like Stonehenge, the Mayan calendar and even sitting in a circle with friends. It is symbolic of the never-ending cycle of life, the circle is the most sacred symbol on the planet. When you create a circle it concentrates and focuses energy. Aboriginal peoples, ancient and present, have used the circle for various astronomical, ritual, healing, and teaching purposes. It has no beginning and no end and as such is used to symbolize the cosmos or world horizon.
What are the benefits of an Medicine Wheel?
The Medicine Wheel provides a Sacred Space for you. A place to feel protected and happy. A purified place you can sit or lay in to recuperate, to regain balance and health.
It is your place of Peace, Healing and Meditation. A place to go and affirm out loud what you wish to accomplish, your goals and dreams. A place to let go of your fears and upsets and to learn to be grounded, centered, healthy and happy, at one with oneself.
